IPM Energy Retail Limited - Notice of Revocation of an Electricity Supply Licence

NOTICE OF REVOCATION OF A LICENCE PURSUANT TO SECTION 6 OF THE ELECTRICITY ACT 1989

Notice of Revocation

Whereas

1. IPM Energy Retail Limited, (company registration number 06054816), having its registered office at No. 1 Leeds, 26 Whitehall Road, Leeds, LS12 1BE, is the holder of an Electricity Supply Licence (the “Licence”) granted or treated as granted under Section 6(1)(d) of the Electricity Act 1989 (the “Act”).

2. Section 6(8) of the Act provides that a licence granted or treated as granted under the Act may be revoked in accordance with any term contained in it.

3. The terms of the Licence provide that the Authority may at any time revoke the Licence on giving not less than 30 days notice to IPM Energy Retail Limited where it agrees in writing with the Authority that the Licence should be revoked.

4. By email dated 11 February 2022 IPM Energy Retail Limited confirmed that the Licence is no longer required and agreed with the Authority that the Licence should be revoked.

Reasons for Decision

5. IPM Energy Retail Limited has agreed in writing with the Authority that the Licence is no longer required and should be revoked in accordance with the terms of the Licence by email dated 11 February 2022.

Therefore

6. The Authority hereby gives notice that, unless the Authority otherwise directs, the Licence will be revoked with effect from 00:01am on 21 March 2022.
