This letter notes that a common feature of two recent cases of supplier non-compliance with the Guaranteed Standards, was that the suppliers concerned had inadequate data recording and transferral arrangements with meter operators and/or meter asset managers.
The letter notes that suppliers are responsible for the actions of third parties acting on their behalf and strongly encourages suppliers to report any potential non-compliance to us now and to take any prompt and effective remedial action that might be necessary.
The Authority attaches significant value to the prompt self-reporting of breaches and putting right any non-compliance that suppliers have identified.
