Decision to modify CRC 3F.25 of Western Power Distribution Plc’s licences and the ED1 Price Control Financial Handbook (fast-track licensees)

On 21 January, we published a statutory consultation on proposals to modify CRC 3F.25 of WPD’s licences and paragraph 7.35 of the ED1 Price Control Financial Handbook (fast-track licensees) (Fast-track Handbook).
We received two responses. Following consideration of these responses we have decided to proceed with the proposed modifications. We have also made a minor alteration to these proposals by incorporating WPD’s suggestion to include an additional paragraph from the slow track ED1 Price Control Financial Handbook to the Fast-track Handbook, to bring the SSWC provisions in both documents into further alignment. This adds clarity to the definition of SSWC, rather than being a substantive change to the proposed modifications.
The changes to the licence and the Fast-track Handbook will take effect from 29 April 2020.
