We have decided to modify the standard conditions of the electricity and gas supply licences by inserting new standard condition 21BA to protect consumers from lengthy backbills.
The decision follows our statutory consultation dated 16 November 2017 and an open letter we published in April 2017.
We have carefully considered and taken into account responses received to our statutory consultation and the open letter. The changes will take effect on and from 01 May 2018.
