If we do this in the right way, such a system will ensure the UK has a secure, affordable and clean energy system now and in the future.
This document set out our thinking for a number of key areas. We invited views and evidence in response to this, by 12 January 2017. We respond to this evidence in our Smart Systems and Flexibility Plan by setting out the specific measures we will take forward, the sequencing for delivering these measures and the timescales for doing so.
