BEIS have introduced the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) through new secondary legislation, The Smart Export Guarantee Order, and by modifications to conditions of the electricity supply licence. The SEG will be in force from 1 January 2020.
We will provide guidance for licenced suppliers and generators in due course.
