Organisations that have signed up to an energy code and anyone who is affected by the code can propose modifications.
A code body considers, consults and adapts proposals and gives them to us to approve or reject. We can send them back if we need more information.
The organisations signed up to a code can also request that we treat a modification as urgent.

Companies who have issues with code requirements
You can request to not meet a code requirement. To do this, you must do assessment work to get a derogation from a code or a condition that refers to the code.
You can appeal changes to commercial and technical codes that go against panel recommendations.
