On 14 December 2018, we published our minded-to position on Octopus Energy Limited’s (Octopus) intention to claim for a Last Resort Supply Payment for certain additional costs they incurred in acting as a Supplier of Last Resort (SoLR). This letter confirms our decision to consent to Octopus claiming a Last Resort Supply Payment of up to £13.02m. We also explain any additional factors we have taken into consideration, including representations made to us by interested parties in response to our consultation.
Alongside our decision letter, we have published consents for Octopus under its gas and electricity supply licences to make a claim for the appropriate amount from relevant distribution networks.
