Western Power Distribution applied for permission to bring a judicial review of our decision on electricity distribution losses. This was considered by the High Court on 20 November 2014. It ruled in favour of Ofgem, refusing Western Power Distribution’s application and thereby upholding our decision.
We consulted extensively over the past four years on closing out the DPCR4 losses incentive mechanism, with our final decision seeing £161 million returned to consumers.
