Renewables Obligation: Guidance on closure of the scheme in England, Scotland and Wales

This guidance explains our administration of the closure of the RO to new capacity in England, Scotland and Wales (excluding onshore wind and solar PV, which have already closed), including the process for applying for the grace periods that are available.
The guidance is based on the Renewables Obligation Closure Order 2014 which was made on 8 September 2014, and supersedes the closure section of our Renewables Obligation (RO): Guidance on the transition period and closure of the RO, last updated on 1 December 2015. The closure comes into force on 1 April 2017.
