In February 2018, we confirmed our decision to introduce faster and more reliable switching, including the creation of a new, harmonised, dual fuel switching service. This Full Business Case sets out our updated assessment of the case for action in the light of the procurements to deliver the required systems and services, as well as other changes that have occurred since then.
Our conclusion is that the case for action remains robust and the programme is expected to deliver benefits for consumers. We therefore confirm our intention to proceed with the Switching Programme as planned.
