Equality and diversity

In Ofgem, we value all our colleagues, regardless of gender, background, ethnicity, age, nationality, expertise or experience. We are better and stronger the more diverse we are, and we want to lead the way in making organisations across the energy sector more inclusive.

We are working hard to create a diverse workforce where everyone can flourish. For example, we are trialling blind recruitment and have invested in infrastructure that supports flexible working across all levels of staff.

Going forward, we want to do even better - both within Ofgem and across the wider sector. Our Diversity and Inclusion strategy below sets out how we plan to do this.
