Following approval of TMO4+ earlier this year, NESO has identified some suitable amendments to improve the Connections Network Design Methodology. These are available on NESO’s website in the ‘Connections Methodology Update’ document published November 2025.
This Ofgem letter sets out our decision to approve these amendments, and to agree with NESO that no consultation is required in the circumstances. NESO will publish a marked-up, updated version of the Connections Network Design Methodology (enacting these changes) by end of December 2025.
