Decision

This is a statutory consultation, in accordance with the Electricity Act 1989, concerning our proposals to modify standard condition 47 of the Electricity Supply Licence (SLC 47). We are proposing to modify SLC 47 to introduce data access requirements in relation to market-wide half-hourly settlement (MHHS). We are seeking views on whether the proposed changes are best calculated to deliver the intent of the data access policy decisions that Ofgem took as part of the Electricity Settlement Reform Significant Code Review, enabling effective implementation of MHHS.

The subsidiary documents include a Notice setting out the proposed licence changes in full. The modifications can be compared against the up-to-date version of the consolidated licence conditions available on our website at the time of publishing, the definitive sources for which (not including the changes proposed in this consultation) are available on the Electronic Public Register.

We would particularly welcome views from electricity suppliers, but also welcome responses from other interested stakeholders and the public.
