NOTICE UNDER SECTION 6A(5) OF THE ELECTRICITY ACT 1989 OF THE GRANT OF AN ELECTRICITY GENERATION LICENCE
The Gas and Electricity Markets Authority (“the Authority”) hereby gives notice pursuant to section 6A(5) of the Electricity Act 1989 (“the Act”) that on 18 December 2017 an electricity generation licence was granted under section 6(1)(a) of the Act to Sanquhar II Community Wind Co Ltd (company number SC449688) whose registered office is situated at Caledonian Exchange, 19a Canning Street, Edinburgh, EH3 8HE, United Kingdom, authorising it to generate electricity in the area specified in Schedule 1 for the purpose of giving a supply to any premises or enabling a supply to be so given.
