“We at Ofgem are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty the Queen. Our thoughts are with the Royal family as we join the rest of the country, and others around the commonwealth and beyond, in grieving this loss.
“As the nation enters a period of mourning, and for many of us also a period of reflection on all that has taken place during the Queen’s reign, public bodies and their employees can reflect on what an inspiration the Queen was to anyone working in public service. She saw her role serving the country as a great privilege and deep responsibility and gave us a steadfast and unwavering figurehead regardless of the challenges the country was going through. She will be remembered, among other things, for this incredible strength and fortitude.”
