NOTICE UNDER STANDARD COND ITION 2(3) OF THE GAS TRANSPORTERS LICENCE
AND NOTICE OF REASONS FOR DECISION (SECTION 38A GAS ACT 1986)
Whereas:
A. CNG Services Limited (the ‘Licensee’) is the holder of a Gas Transporters Licence (the
Licence) granted by the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority (the ‘Authority’) under section 7
of the Gas Act 1986 on 26 October 2023.
B. On 27 October 2023, the Licensee gave its consent to the issuance by the Authority of a
Notice under paragraph 3 of Standard Licence Condition 2 ‘Application of Section C
(Transportation Services Obligations)’ (‘SLC2’) ending the suspension of paragraphs 4 to 8 of
SLC2.
C. The Authority's reason for issuing a Notice under paragraph 3 of SLC2 is to provide for the
issuance of a Transportation Services Direction to the Licensee for the purpose of giving effect
to certain Standard Conditions in Section C of the Licence.
D. The effect of issuing this Notice is to end the suspension of paragraphs 4 to 8 in SLC2 for
the Licensee.
Now therefore,
In accordance with the provisions of paragraph 3 of SLC2, the Authority hereby gives notice
ending the suspension of paragraphs 4 to 8 in SLC 2 of the Licence with effect from the date
of this notice.
This document also constitutes a notice for the purpose of section 38A of the Act, stating the
reasons for the Authority's decision to issue this Notice.
