Southern Gas Networks (SGN) Robotics Project decision to proceed with Element 4

SGN’s Robotics Project was selected in December 2013 for funding under the Gas NIC. The Project Direction set out terms and conditions which SGN must comply with in order to receive this funding.
One condition listed under the Successful Delivery Reward Criteria (SDCRs) required that SGN submit a report to us. This report was to fully address all of the condition components and provide a clear motivation on which we could base a decision on whether to allow SGN to proceed with Element 4 of the Project past the Module 4 Conceptual Design Stage.
