Amendments havebeen made to Section 3 with respect to the speed of telephone response in accordancewith the amendment mechanism set out in Standard Licence Condition 49 of theElectricity Distribution Licence. In drawing up this version of the RIGs, Ofgem hasconsidered responses to the draft versions, which were published in July and September2003 respectively.Ofgem has made these changes to the RIGs to:♦ allow for DNOs to report consistently on the speed of telephone response;♦ provide further guidance in this areaSome amendments that were proposed in the July and September draft versions havebeen revised in the light of respondents comments.
