In our Sector Specific Methodology Decision in December 2020, we provided approval with regard to the suitability of the updated Common Network Asset Indices Methodology (CNAIM) version 2.0, subject to revision of the key input reference costs to the methodology, for use in RIIO-ED2.
Following this decision, the distribution network operators (DNOs), through Ofgem’s Safety, Resilience and Reliability Working Group (SRRWG) and the ENA Technical Working Group (NEDWG) have revised the key input reference costs to the methodology. This version is now referenced as CNAIM version 2.1.
This is our decision to approve the revision to the CNAIM.
