Decision:

We propose to introduce a new licence obligation to prevent Erroneous transfers (ETs). An ET occurs when a customer has their supplier switched without having given consent. It can cause confusion and distress, and damage customers’ perception of the market.  We believe the current obligations and incentives on suppliers are insufficient and in this consultation we propose new requirements to tackle this issue.
