Investigation into A Shade Greener about possible non-compliance with consumer protection legislation.

Case outcome

We have finished our investigation into A Shade Greener Maintenance Ltd and its wider group of related companies (together referred to as A Shade Greener).

The investigation looked at potential breaches of the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.

All areas of potential non-compliance have been fully investigated. A Shade Greener has worked proactively with us on this investigation and offered solutions to the issues.  As a result of the investigation and engagement between both organisations, A Shade Greener has committed to put in place a set of voluntary measures.

These measures are expected to provide benefits for householders and help grow confidence in the renewable energy sector.

We will work with A Shade Greener to monitor progress and ensure the continued provision of good practice.

Anyone who wants to raise a new issue about A Shade Greener should contact the company directly.

Issues that cannot be resolved directly will then be referred to the appointed Alternative Dispute Resolution provider by A Shade Greener.
