ECO

On 2 February 2017 we published a consultation seeking stakeholder views on our proposed administration of specific aspects of the extension to the ECO2 obligation period, which is intended to start on 1 April 2017.

This follows on from our ECO2t consultation part one and draft guidance on how we proposed to implement the legislative changes to the ECO2 scheme proposed in the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy’s (BEIS) Energy Company Obligation (ECO): Help to Heat consultation. Our final ECO guidance will be published in the second week of April 2017.

Our consultation closed on 16 February and we received 21 responses. These are provided in the original consultation page.

Document Overview

The document below is our consultation response. In the response document we summarise stakeholder responses, present the points raised and respond to that feedback. We then outline the outcome of the consultation and, where relevant, how we have changed our approach.

The proposed changes will take effect from 1 April 2017.
