UK Power Distribution Limited: Ofgem approval of Use of System Charging Methodology and Statement
Decision
UK Power Distribution Limited is an Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO) whose licence was granted on 3 November 2015.
Standard Licence Condition (SLC) 13 of the Electricity Distribution Licence LC13 requires that the licensee must have a Use of System (UoS) Charging Methodology which is approved by Ofgem on the basis that it achieves the Relevant Objectives (set out in SLC 13). SLC 14 also requires that the licensee must have a UoS Charging Statement in a form approved by Ofgem. This sets out the basis on which UoS charges will be made.
UK Power Distribution Limited submitted their UoS Charging Methodology and UoS Charging Statement to us on 5 May 2016 for our approval.
This letter sets out our approval of UK Power Distribution’s UoS Charging Methodology and its UoS Charging statement effective from 1 July 2016.
