This letter and its associated annex comprise Ofgem E-Serve's response to the Energy Company Obligation (ECO): Help to Heat consultation. The consultation was published by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) on 29 June 2016 and details proposed changes for a 1 year extension to ECO2, as well as plans for a future scheme from 2018 onwards. DECC has since been superseded by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
Our response outlines our understanding of the proposed changes and where possible, details how we expect to administer the changes if the proposals become law.
