This guidance is now obsolete. The ‘closure of the RO’ section of this guidance has now been superseded by dedicated guidance on the closure of the RO in England, Scotland and Wales. We have also published guidance on the closure of the RO in Northern Ireland. These documents are currently published as drafts open for consultation until 10 February 2017.

The section on biomass conversions, RO-CfD phased projects and dual scheme facilities has been moved to Appendix 4 of the Guidance for Generators.
