Notices to modify the network licences to curtail the recovery of Bid Preparation Costs from 1 April 2018

We have issued Direction Notices under section 11A(1)(a) of the Electricity Act 1989 and under section 23(1)(b) of the Gas Act 1986 to the relevant licence holders. The notice directs the modification of the licence condition to implement our Network Innovation Review policy decision that the network licensees will not be able to recover Bid Preparation Costs after 1 April 2018 from the Network Innovation Allowance. The modified licence condition can be found in the relevant Notice.
