On 8 May and 26 June 2015, Interconnector (UK) (‘IUK’) proposed modifications to its access rules and its charging methodology, respectively, to the Authority for approval.
Ofgem’s letter and the annexed directions set out the Authority’s approval of the submitted proposals.
The Authority considers the proposed modified access rules and modified charging methodology to be transparent, non-discriminatory, objective and compliant with the relevant legally binding decisions of the European Commission, which include the European network codes on Capacity Allocation Mechanisms (CAM) and Balancing and the Congestion Management Procedures (CMP) guidelines.
