In our Stakeholder Workshop in October, we sought input from stakeholders on our proposed approach to RIIO-ED2 working groups. The aim of these working groups is to support us in developing a package of proposals for our RIIO-ED2 Methodology Consultation, which we intend to publish next summer.

RIIO-ED2 Working Groups

The initial suite of working groups that we plan to run is set out below, along with date and location for the first sessions of each group:

Please note the broad areas we propose to cover are not exhaustive, and we may determine that additional working groups are required.

We also recognise that there will be significant interplay between the groups. We do not expect that all groups will run throughout the process of setting the methodology, and that the outputs of some groups may feed into work being carried out in others.

Membership

We are inviting expressions of interest from stakeholders who would like to become a member of one or more of the groups. Please note that these are working groups; membership will be granted where you can provide expertise in a particular area as well as, where necessary, information and analysis that will support policy development.

We will try to accommodate all stakeholders who express an interest in becoming a member of one or more of our working groups. Depending on the level of interest we receive, we may need to limit physical attendance in working groups. Alternative arrangements may need to be organised, for example participation via teleconference.

If you would like to become a member of one or more of the above working groups, please email RIIOED2@ofgem.gov.uk by Friday 15 November, including:

  • Your name, and the organisation you represent,
  • The working group(s) you are interested in joining; and
  • Your particular area(s) of expertise.

We will be in touch on the week commencing 18 November to confirm agendas for the initial working group sessions.
