In order to provide clarity to offshore transmission owners (OFTOs) and other interested parties, this letter outlines the approach that the Authority expects to take towards evaluating exceptional events under the OFTO licence. It replaces our previous guidance published on 22 October 2014.
The approach outlined in this letter applies specifically to holders of offshore electricity transmission licences and does not constitute a general policy position across all transmission licences.
