Investigations
We monitor the energy market to ensure fair treatment of consumers and to secure compliance with legislation.
Using our enforcement powers, we investigate potential breaches of the rules. Where companies fail, we will act. We use Enforcement guidelines and a Financial penalties and consumer redress policy to guide our work.
Below you can view our investigations and decisions since 2009. The following pages list further information relating to provisional and final orders and compliance cases.
Please note: An open investigation does not mean a company has breached licence conditions or other obligations.
