Uniform Network Code (UNC) 494: Imbalance Charge amendments required to align the UNC with the Network Code on Gas Balancing of Transmission Networks

UNC494 sought to facilitate compliance with European Commission Regulation (EU) No 312/2014 (Network Code on Gas Balancing of Transmission Networks) by proposing changes to the way that System Marginal Buy Price (SMBP) and System Marginal Sell Price (SMSP) is calculated in the Uniform Network Code (UNC).

The Authority approved the modification on 23 September 2014.
