Consultation description
Ofgem is seeking views on our minded to position on the proposed modifications within Net Zero North Sea Storage Ltd’s BOC & H2T Discontination Change in Scope Submission primarily regarding the removal of the BOC & H2T spur pipelines.
This submission follows formal announcement of the discontinuation of the BOC project from the Department of Energy Security & Net Zero (‘DESNZ’) in September 2025 (‘BOC announcement’).
As well as the announcement from developer bp that it was withdrawing its Development Consent Order, and planning to discontinue the H2T project in December 2025 (‘H2T announcement’).

We welcome responses from both Licensees, current and future network users, and any other interested parties, including members of the public.
