In our RIIO-2 Final Determinations, we set out our decision to introduce the Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF) for the Electricity System Operator, Electricity Transmission, Gas Transmission and Gas Distribution sectors.
We are now consulting on the operational arrangements for the Strategic Innovation Fund, including the draft SIF Governance Document.
This follows on from our recent our statutory consultation on licence conditions to introduce the SIF. The SIF Governance Document is created under those licence conditions to supplement those conditions and is subordinate to them.
The document is a working draft. During the consultation period, we also intend to engage further with stakeholders, for example via calls and workshops. If you wish to express an interest in being involved in these additional consultation activities please email graeme.barton@ofgem.gov.uk.
