In January 2017, we consulted on future arrangements for the electricity System Operator’s (ESO) role and structure.

This informal consultation is our follow up to the ESO structure section of the consultation and seeks views on our current thinking on the separation of National Grid’s electricity transmission licence into Transmission Owner and System Operator functions.
