RIIO-ED1: Decision on second deferral of the application window for SHEPD Subsea Cables Costs uncertainty mechanism

On 6 October 2017, SHEPD submitted a request to the Authority seeking a deferral of the Subsea Cables Costs uncertainty application window as provided for under Charge Restriction Condition 3F.11(a) of its electricity distribution licence from the current application window that opens on 1 May and closes on 31 May 2018.

We have now made our decision to agree to SHEPD’s request to defer the application window for Subsea Cables Costs uncertainty mechanism to a window that opens on 1 February 2019 and closes on 28 February 2019, or such later dates as directed by Ofgem.
