Response to NESO regarding Muir Mhòr Impact Assessment and Asset Classification

We respond in this letter to your request for us to consider the asset classification for the infrastructure proposed in the revised network design, located in the northern half of the electrically-connected assets within the Holistic Network Design Follow Up Exercise (HNDFUE).
We have set out the relevant publications and regulatory framework used in making our determination of the resulting classifications for assets relating to Muir Mhòr’s transmission infrastructure.
