Direction made under Standard Licence Condition 38 of the Gas Supply Licence and Standard Licence Condition 44 of the Electricity Supply Licence requiring the submission of revised Smart Metering Deployment Plans for Relevant Period 2 onwards.

This direction sets out:
- additional data requirements for the revised Deployment Plan
- the format required for the submission of the revised Deployment Plan via the secure workspace
- the submission date for the revised Deployment Plan of 30 October 2026
- the dates by which, for an accepted revised Deployment Plan, the Annual Milestones must be published prominently on the supplier’s website
This direction takes effect on 21 September 2026. It replaces and revokes the previous Direction to Submit Smart Metering Deployment Plans published on 2 June 2026.
