In September 2021, we consulted on a proposed direction to amend National Grid Electricity Transmission's (NGET) licence for a new Enhancing Pre-existing Infrastructure (EPI) project in the Peak District National Park. We received one response to the consultation, which supported the proposed direction. We are issuing the final direction under licence condition 3.10.15 of the electricity transmission licence to add the EPI and the associated funding allowance to NGET's RIIO-ET2 price control.
