We are consulting on proposed modifications to Special Condition 3.2 to attach a Price Control Deliverable to SP Distribution and SP Manweb’s Electricity System Restoration Re-opener.
As part of the RIIO-ED2 price control, network companies can apply for additional allowances via re-opener mechanisms.
This document sets out our proposal to modify Special Condition 3.2 of the Electricity Distribution Licence held by SP Distribution plc and SP Manweb plc. The proposed modification is to make the allowances granted under the Electricity System Restoration (ESR) Re-opener subject to a Price Control Deliverable.
We would like views from people with an interest in electricity distribution networks. We would also welcome responses from other stakeholders and the public.
