Refinement of the Environmental Discretionary Reward Scheme – an open letter consultation on changes from the 2013/14 scheme year

This letter seeks stakeholders views on the revised guidance for the Environmental Discretionary Reward Scheme (EDR). The EDR Scheme provides a financial and reputational incentive for electricity transmission companies that provide evidence that they are achieving high standards of environmental management as well as facilitating the transition to low carbon energy systems. The revised guidance reflects the results of a trial of the scheme for the 2012/13 year.
