Notice of proposed modifications to the Regulatory Financial Performance Reporting template and guidance for RIIO-2 (2026)

Details of outcome

On 14 April 2026, the Authority issued a Notice proposing modifications to the RFPR template and the accompanying RIGs for Gas and Electricity Transmission networks, Gas Distribution networks and Electricity Distribution Networks.

Following stakeholder feedback on the Notice, we are now publishing the modified versions of the RFPR template and RIGs. We have made these modifications  to clarify the reporting requirements for network licensees, and they will take effect from 15 June 2026. For the avoidance of doubt, annual reporting information submitted in respect of the 2025/26 regulatory year should comply with the RFPR template and RIGs, as modified.

The RFPR RIGs is tracked to show the location of modifications relative to previously published versions.
