Details of outcome 

We received 14 responses to the consultation, 13 of which were from individual network companies and one from Future Energy Networks (on behalf of the gas network companies).  None of the responses were marked as confidential. Most respondents were supportive of the need for the redaction policy to be revised and standardised. Comments were made regarding policy scope, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and other proposed changes to the policy. A summary of the consultation responses and our reply to them can be found in Appendix 1.   

Re-opener Guidance and Application Requirements Document revisions  

We have revised the Re-opener Guidance and Application Requirements Document and Appendix 12 following consideration of the responses.  We have published clean versions and a tracked changes version of Appendix 12.  The tracked changes version shows the changes from the version of Appendix 12 that we consulted on. The new guidance and appendix can be read below.

Consultation description

We are consulting on proposed modifications to the Re-opener Guidance and Application Requirements Document to improve clarity around redaction of published information as well as the data that licensees submit to Ofgem as part of their re-opener applications. Please respond to this consultation by 18 April 2024.
