We are seeking views on the proposed modifications to the licences for the RIIO-3 Price Control.

Details of outcome

We published a statutory consultation on 16 December 2025 on proposed changes to the licence conditions required to implement the RIIO-3 price control settlement for electricity transmission, gas transmission and gas distribution networks.

The consultation closed on 16 January 2026. Following careful consideration of responses, we have decided to implement the licence modifications as set out in the notices below. The licence modifications will come into effect on 1 April 2026.

In December 2025 we also consulted on a number of associated documents, which set out the detailed methodologies and guidance that support the licence conditions.

Our decisions on these will follow in Spring 2026.
