Consultation description
This consultation sets out Ofgem's proposed framework for a Central Asset Register (CAR), the shortlisted delivery options, and our emerging position on the preferred delivery model.
We are seeking views on the proposed framework for a CAR, including the outcomes, use cases, design principles and minimum functional requirements it should support.
We are also seeking views on the shortlisted delivery options and Ofgem's emerging assessment of those options, which will inform our decision on the future delivery of asset visibility arrangements.
We are publishing a draft impact assessment alongside this consultation and welcome feedback on the evidence, assumptions and analysis it contains.
