The participants on Green Gas Support Scheme (GGSS) receive periodic payments based on the volume of eligible biomethane produced from registered anaerobic digestion plants that they inject into the gas grid.
We report the estimate of “maximum value” of GGSS subsidy awards to participants within 3 months of the decision to grant the subsidy. This is a statutory requirement under the Subsidy Control Act 2022 and the subsidy awards are reported on the subsidy database managed by Department for Business and Trade.
