Notice under section 6A(5) of the Electricity Act 1989 of the grant of an electricity generation licence
The Gas and Electricity Markets Authority (“the Authority”) hereby gives notice pursuant to section 6A(5) of the Electricity Act 1989 (“the Act”) that on 4 July 2025 an electricity generation licence was granted under section 6(1)(a) of the Act to Whaddon Farm Solar Park Limited (company number 13190271) whose registered office is situated at 35 & 35A The Maltings, Lower Charlton Trading Estate, Shepton Mallet, Somerset, BA4 5QE, United Kingdom, authorising it to generate electricity in the area specified in Schedule 1 for the purpose of giving a supply to any premises or enabling a supply to be so given.
