The Delivery Body collects a lot of meter information, both at Prequalification and after, which is required by the Settlement Body in order to settle the Delivery Year. Unfortunately, the Delivery Body lack the detailed knowledge of the Settlement Body and as a result some of the information submitted may not be to the level required. This proposal makes data validation a recognised process within the Capacity Market framework, streamlines, and takes into account various dependencies, such as Demand Side Response testing, that rely on the use of validated meter information.
