The Network and Information Systems Regulations 2018 (NIS Regulations) came into force on 10th May 2018.
This guidance supports Operators of Essential Services (OES) with their compliance activities under the NIS Regulations, and applies to OES in the downstream gas and electricity subsectors within Great Britain.
This guidance will, once completed, supersede a previous version called ‘Ofgem Competent Authority Guidance for Downstream Gas and Electricity in Great Britain’ which was published in November 2018.
We will be publishing a series of reporting templates in due course which accompany this guidance.
We are seeking input on this guidance of which we may then issue a revised version(s).
