Decision to close the investigation into UK Energy Incubator Hub Ltd (“UKEIH”) compliance with its obligations under the gas and electricity supply licences (Standard Licence Condition 5, 4C & 11.2).

UKEIH ceased trading on 9 July 2022, and its licences to supply gas and electricity were revoked on 9 July 2022.

As a result, the investigation into UKEIH compliance under the gas and electricity supply licences (Standard Licence Condition 5 and 11.2) has closed.

We were investigating whether UKEIH complied with these conditions in relation to its failure to comply with industry codes and its failure to respond to requests for information.

UKEIH’s customers have been transferred to Octopus Energy under the Supplier of Last Resort (SoLR) process. If you would like any further information regarding the SoLR process and how this is being managed please see: Ofgem appoints Octopus Energy to take on customers of UK Energy Incubator Hub (UKEIH).
